Dog Training Agreement
The Client agrees to the following conditions:
The Trainer will provide:
The Trainer guarantees only professional training, and cannot guarantee behaviour or results in individual dogs. If the Dog damages property, bites, or harms any personnel (or anyone on the training premises), the Client will be held responsible for all payments and legal fees.
The Trainer reserves the right to discontinue training if the Dog injures people or other animals, or if the Dog is considered a threat to people or other animals.
- To follow the trainer’s instructions without modification regarding any and all behaviour and treatment of the Dog.
- To pay for the course/consultation in full before attending.
- To give at least 48 hours notice in case of cancellation (if this condition is not followed, the Client agrees to pay the full amount for their session, regardless of attendance). Refunds will not be given for change of mind once the course/consultation has commenced, or if the client is unable to attend a class.
- Permission for Bridget’s Pet Services to use any photo or video taken during the training sessions for promotional and marketing purposes including on social media.
- In the event of inclement weather where it is deemed too unsafe to undertake the scheduled services, the course/consultation will be postponed and scheduled at a later date. Clients will be notified by text and email and given the opportunity to reschedule at a suitable time. Refunds will not be offered under these circumstances.
- Dogs must be vaccinated and provide proof to the trainer before commencing the scheduled services. Puppies must have received their first vaccination.
The Trainer will provide:
- Professional training, as certified by Steve & Vicki Austin’s Dog Training & Behaviour Course.
- The services booked (private consultation or group sessions) with the Dog and the Client.
- Guidelines, tricks, and rules to help the Client to interact with the Dog in order to produce the best results in behaviour.
